It mechanical toughness, very low moisture absorption, wide range of service temperature from -40°C to 150 °C, good wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, resistance to UV, self-extinguishing nature and transparency to radiation renders it useful in host of applications in chemical processing, food, pharmaceutical and paper manufacturing.
